The Stone Lady will be doing Palmistry and Stone Readings at the annual Psychic Fair and Witchcraft Expo, hosted by Christian Day and the Witches of Salem at the Museum Place Mall, 176 Essex Street, Salem, MA.

The Psychic Fair will take place everyday during October 2008, from 10:00 am – 10:00 pm.  The Stone Lady will be working on most Sundays and Mondays from 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm, and most Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.

All readings at the Psychic Fair are priced at $30 per 15 minutes.

PAGAN PRIDE DAY — Sunday, September 21st 10:00 - 6:00 

Pagan Pride Day is a free event that has grown tremendously over the years. It is attended by hundreds of pagans and pagan-curious folk. Pagan Pride Day features several great workshops, vendors, and a fabulous entertainment lineup. This year’s event promises to be one of the best yet! Admission will be a donation of non-perishable food, and the food proceeds will be donated to the Merrimack Valley Food Bank.

“The Stone Lady” will be participating as a vendor and Psychic Reader at the upcoming Eastern Massachusetts Pagan Pride Day. She will offer “Stone Readings,” and will have a limited assortment of special stones and crystals available for purchase.

The Pagan Pride Project is a global non-profit organization dedicated to the elimination of prejudice and religious discrimination through education, activism, charity and community. Pagan Pride Project global event attendance has broken records every year, with nearly 50,000 people attending Pagan Pride events in six countries. Pagan Pride attendees have donated thousand of pounds of food and goods to local food banks, women’s shelters, animal shelters and other charities. In addition to the material collections, Pagan Pride events also raised thousands of dollars in cash donations for local and regional charitable causes.

Saturday, September 13th

The Stone Lady will be one of the psychics at the upcoming Psychic Fair to be held at Pachamama, in Concord, New Hampshire on Saturday, September 13th. Terry “The Stone Lady” Milton will be offering her unique “Stone Readings” at Pachamama, the largest new age and metaphysical store in New Hampshire.  The folks at Pachamama have always gone to great lengths to ensure a variety of high quality psychics and healers at their fairs. They will also offer a variety of advertised and unadvertised sales and special promotions on that date! Appointments for readings are recommended, but walk-ins are always welcome! See you there!

The Stone Lady will be doing “stone readings” at Pachamama, in Concord, New Hampshire on Saturday, August 9, 2008 from 10:00 - 5:00. Appointments are recommended, although walk-in appointments are also welcomed.

On August 23rd, The Stone Lady will be offering two workshops on stones. “Rock Your World,” in the morning will help people to see and feel some of the similarities between the energy of stones and the energy of people. It is a fun, experiential learning class aimed at allowing people to experience the magic and energy of the stones. At the end of the class, participants will have a basic beginner’s knowledge of “stone reading,” and, hopefully, a new appreciation for the wonders of nature and the mineral kingdom!

The afternoon workshop, Specific Stones for Everyday Life, will feature a number of stones that can be especially helpful in dealing with the challenges of today’s hectic life. It will be an introduction to the “age old” as well as “new age” aspects of stones. It should be noted that my method of working with stones differs considerably from those who use stones and crystals in their healing modalities. For example, I would not recommend a specific stone for a specific ailment.

As “The Stone Lady,” I have spent many years attuning to the energy and magic of stones. It is that same energy and magic that I want to emphasize and share in my workshops. As humans, we are composed of the same minerals that make up the stones, and it seems appropriate that the stones help us to have a glimpse of our own uniqueness.

I realize I have been a bit negligent in keeping this blog up-to-date and current. Having a website and a Blog is a new experience for me, and I have so much to learn. I will try to do better from now on

We had the Hammond Castle Museum Psychic Faire last weekend. This was a little different from other Psychic Faires, as it was meant as a fundraiser to benefit the museum.

Hammond Castle was built in the 1920’s by inventor John Hammond as a gift for his wife, Irene Fenton, who was an Astrologer, Medium, and Psychic. The mideival castle sets on the Atlantic Ocean, and is complete with towers, drawbridges, and dungeons, a priceless collection of art from midieval times, secret passageways, and the ability to seemingly transport one to another time and place. Hammond Castle is a treasure, and is now facing several thousands of dollars worth of major repairs, with precious little funds to do all of the work that is needed. It is definitely worth a day trip, and will be enjoyed by the entire family. Check out their website at http://hammondcastle.org

People who came to Hammond Castle last weekend, in addition to the events at the fair, were treated to an unusual tour of the castle. Curator John Pettibone, who has worked at Hammond Castle since 1965 was able to elaborate on the psychic nature of the relationship between John Hammond and his wife, Irene Fenton, and explained how and why certain objects came to be purchased.  

There were many wonderful and truly gifted psychic readers available all weekend, pretty much hand selected by Jeffrey Justice and myself. To all of the Psychics and Volunteers who so generously gave of their time and energy, my sincere thanks and appreciation! Jeffrey and I learned some valuable lessons from this Psychic Fair, and are already looking forward to helping with future Hammond Castle projects!

Mark your calendars! Hammond Castle Museum will be the site of this summer’s upcoming Psychic Fair, to be held on Saturday and Sunday, July 26^th and July 27^th from 10:00 – 5:00. This is a fundraising event to benefit Hammond Castle Museum, and the standard entrance fees (Adults $10, Seniors $8, Children $8) will include a tour of Hammond Castle as well as free admittance to the day’s ongoing series of psychic and metaphysical classes, galleries, lectures, and workshops. Readings will be available in the Great Hall, and priced at $30 per 15 minute reading.

Several of New England’s favorite psychics, including The Stone Lady and Jeffrey Justice, will be offering psychic readings in this Psychic Fair. Some of the traditional and non-traditional psychic tools used by the readers will include astrology, stones, palmistry, mediumship, crystal scrying, aura photography, and tarot.  Stay tuned for more information, as well as a listing of the free classes and workshops offered at this fair!

The Stone Lady will be offering in-person “Stone Readings” on Saturday, June 28^th and Sunday, June 29^th at the Winslow Shire Renaissance Faire. This fair will be held at the Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary, 37 Eddy Street, Norton, MA from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Welcome to my BLOG! I hope to use this space from time to time to write about some of my favorite stones, and what the stones suggest about people who are drawn to specific stones. It is also my hope to use this section to write about some of the areas and venues where I will be teaching, leading workshops, or giving “Stone Readings” in the coming months. But first, a little bit about me … 

Because of my passion for stones, and the interchangeable nature of stones and people in my readings, I have come to be known as “The Stone Lady.” I am the creator of “Stone Readings,” and would like to give you a little background on me, how “Stone Readings” evolved, and what a typical reading with “The Stone Lady” entails. 

I apprenticed with well know psychic Louisa Poole (artist, inspiration, and creator of the Merryday Tarot) during the early 1980s. I have studied Tarot, Numerology, Palmistry, Earth Magic, Sense Awareness, and other traditional and unconventional “tools of the trade.” I was one of a handful of people across the United States in the late 1970’s who were involved in what was described as the “mission of the stones” and in a “waking up the stones” project.

In an effort to understand and appreciate the stones, I followed a routine of selecting a stone, meditating on it, recording the meditation in a journal, carrying the stone with me, sleeping with the stone under my pillow, attuning to the stone’s personality, immersing myself in the stone’s energy, becoming acquainted with the stone’s individuality, and repeating the procedure day after day, week after week, until I felt I knew the particular stone. I would then select a different stone and start over again. I worked with the stones in this manner for a few years, gathering and assimilating unique information and perspectives about the stones and the people who are drawn to various stones.

When anyone came to my home, they saw stones and crystals everywhere. Invariably someone would pick up a stone or crystal to examine it. I automatically began to babble about some of the things I knew about the stone or crystal they had selected. The person would look at me in surprise and say something like, “Nobody knows that about me!”

They did not seem to realize that I had not been talking about the person – I’d been talking about the stone! Gradually I began to see that “Human Nature” and “Mother Nature” were closely related. Because I “knew” the stone and the stone’s energy, I was able to attune to the individuals who were drawn to a particular stone.  Eventually, “Stone Readings” evolved from my love of stones and love of all things psychic.

In an “in-person” reading, you would have an opportunity to select some stones with your eyes open and some stones with your eyes closed. The theory is that because I know the stones, and realize you would pick stones that are similar to you, I would be able to attune to you through your selections. In a telephone “Stone Reading,” I may close my eyes, concentrate on you, then physically and intuitively attune to a stone or crystal that is closely aligned with you. Your “Stone Reading” will talk about “your” stone, your unique situation, and some of the things your selected stones suggest about you.
